We aim for photographs, descriptions, sizes and colours to be as accurate as possible, however slight variations may occur between pieces. Images are not actual size so please refer to individual product dimensions provided for the actual size of each item.

 

All site content including Claire Macfarlane Jewellery logo, photographs, designs (except for third party links) and copyrights remain the sole property of Claire Macfarlane Jewellery. Copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited without permission.

Pricing

 

All prices on this website are shown in GBP (UK Pounds). For customers purchasing outside the UK the price will be calculated by your card issuer in accordance with the applicable exchange rate at the time of processing your transaction.

Please note that prices listed on the site or in any printed publications are correct at the time of publication and we reserve the right to amend these at any time without prior notification.

Commissions

​

Initial consultation is free. Once a design and price is agreed we require an email of confirmation and a deposit of 50% before commencing work on the piece of bespoke jewellery.

The confirmation email, deposit and agreed fee indicate your intention to enter into an agreement with Claire Macfarlane Jewellery and pay the remaining balance once the piece is complete.

Any alteration request made after the 50% deposit is paid may incur additional costs. Please ensure you are entirely happy with the design before paying the 50% deposit. If an order is cancelled this 50% deposit is deemed non-refundable.

Please allow around six weeks for your design to be produced. If you have specific time restrictions or concerns, please communicate this immediately during the design stage. Any changes to this standard time frame will be communicated to the client at the first available opportunity.

 

Resizing can be done after an item is received. If requested within one month of receipt, resizing is free. Thereafter, all resizing will be priced at a fixed fee of £40.

 

Claire Macfarlane Jewellery cannot be held responsible for the quality of a customer’s own gold or stone(s) if being recycled into a new design.

 

Once an item has been received it is no longer deemed the responsibility of Claire Macfarlane Jewellery.

 

Alterations to the finished piece will be an additional cost and will be re-quoted as a new job.

 

Claire Macfarlane Jewellery reserves the right to photograph a client’s finished jewellery piece when it is still in our possession, or request permission to send a piece to be photographed for marketing purposes at a later date.

Privacy Policy

Mailchimp is used to store and manage this mailing list and your data will not be shared with any third party. You are free to unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe button which appears at the end of every newsletter. Payments

All payments conducted through Claire Macfarlane Jewellery are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption.
